I love farmhouses, too, but have learned not to want one too much. My best friend has one. With it she has one bathroom - in the kitchen!, and the kitchen sink is in the pantry, it is drafty in the winter and blistering in the summer, the stairs are creaky, the bedrooms have little room and no closets, and no privacy with paper thin walls. Alas, with quaintness comes sacrifice!
