Wow! Where have I been? It's been about 10 weeks since I last blogged. There's been a lot going on around here and I'm still getting adjusted to life with three. It's not better, and it's not worse. It's just a lot different and I'm a lot more busy. There's not much time to sit down and write. I even find it hard to do daily chores, take a shower, talk on the phone, and keep the house in order. For the most part I'm feeding and taking care of 3 babies ages 4 and under. It seems as soon as one is content one of the others has a need - "Mommy, help me get on the potty," "more milk," "I want a snack," "help me find my...(fill in the blank)," "read this book," and the list goes on. I love my job and I find my days go by much faster. So fast even that Schaeffer reminds me when it's his nap time by heading to his room and asking for a "ba" (bottle of warm milk). He's a funny boy! I love my babies and they are definitely one of my top priorities. I'm too tired to get up and find my Bible, but I do remember a verse in Proverbs that says there's a season for everything. This season in my life is about loving on my babies and hubby, and enjoying the family God has so graciously blessed me with.

I will agree that the days are flying by much quicker! Seems like everyone is going through a different phase - baby likes to be held and nurses every 2 hours, 2 yr old wants to use the potty (which I an NOT encouraging!), and 3.5 yr old want to be into everything!
It is definitely work being a mommy and I know I take it for granted - but we are SO blessed! Aren't we?!
I loved reading this blog. It reminded me that seasons do come and go..and to enjoy every tiny bit of each new season of life whether it be hectic and chaotic. Thanks Emily for sharing!!! Sorry Emily we haven't gotten the kids together much this summer...we have been busy and I know you have too. Let's do pizza again soon!!! Let me know when a good time is for you all.
